The palazzo has been lovingly restored by the owner, Marco, who is also a biodynamic winemaker and is passionate about both wine and food. It has been renovated to a high standard without compromising on the wonderful history of the property. The exposed brickwork and stonework, original beams, fireplaces and magnificent arches give it a rustic feel yet it also feels contemporary and elegant at the same time due to the choice of interior furnishings.
The property has 5 bedrooms in total, all with ensuite bathrooms with the exception of the 5th bedroom which has a prviate bathroom nearby. Rooms are comfortable and are furnished with a nod to 1930s interior design. There are hints throughout the property of the wine which is produced on the estate - each of the bedrooms is named after one of the wines, whilst there are also paintings, photography and displays of the wine and it's bottles in many of the rooms.
Guests are encouraged to make the most of the cookery lessons and wine tastings on offer during their stay. Cookery classes run by renowned chef, Leonardo Grimaldi, are held at the property, all using organic, locally sourced produce.Wine courses and tastings are also offered within the villa.
