The property is divided into two apartments and is spread over two floors. It boasts four good sized double bedrooms, three bathrooms, two fully fitted kitchens, two large reception rooms (both equipped with SKY satellite TV channels, TV and DVD player), a library and laundry room equipped with both washing machine and dryer.
The first two bedrooms have kingsize beds and each boasts an ensuite bathroom. The third bedroom also has a kingsize bed but shares a family bathroom with the fourth bedroom which has a queen size bed. Each bedroom has comfortable beds with pure cotton sheets and each bathroom has fluffy Egyptian cotton towels.
The property has been tastefully furnished in keeping with the age of the villa and the owners have ensured that they have made the most of the beautiful original features of the building including its chestnut beams, terracotta ceiing and floor tiles and stunning pietra serena fireplace.
Outside, guests enjoy exclusive use of the fabulous salt water infinity pool (10 x 5m) located to make the most of the superb views over the Umbrian hills. Plenty of loungers are provided and, for the ultimate indulgence, there is a minibar where guests can keep snacks and drinks to consume by the pool. Two shady loggias furnished with wrought iron table and chairs provide welcome shade from sun, whilst for those who prefer to catch some rays, there is a sun terrace with rattan sofa set. Next to this terrace is a stone BBQ, ideal for al fresco dining.
For those with children, there are spacious grounds for them to play in, dotted with olive and fruit trees. There is also a wonderful play area with Little Tikes sandpit, playhouse, paddling pool and play kitchen as well as an array of other garden toys. Plenty of indoor doors can also be provided on request.
It's the perfect location from which to explore the wonderful towns and cities in both Umbria and Tuscany including Assisi, Cortona, Todi, Orvieto and Citta di Castello. The Ubaldo Grazia factory in Denuta is nearby where you can buy beautiful majolica, whilst Busatti of Anghiari is the place to purchase traditional Umbrian linens and to see the fabrics being woven. Or if you have more of a culinary interest, why not hunt for the famous white truffle? Or if you simply want to relax and take it easy, then the Villa Valentina spa with thermal mineral pools is only a 15 minute drive away.
