The property dates back to the 1700s and was originally an old convent. It's still possible to get a feel for the history of the building, with many original features such as the stone flooring having been carefully preserved. To enter the property, you need to go through the private walled gardens and then through the large wooden doors of the masseria.
In total the masseria has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Please note that the last of these bedrooms is a double bedroom with bathroom housed in a separate building within the grounds. This makes it ideal accommodation for grandparents or for those travelling as part of a wider group but who perhaps want a bit of extra peace and quiet in the mornings! There are then 2 further double bedrooms, a twin bedroom and a single bedroom within the main part of the masseria.
The property also boasts an open plan living and dining area with a separate snug area for cosy nights in! There is also a good sized, traditional kitchen equipped with oven, hob and dishwasher, whilst for those who like to cook outdoors, there is a built in oven outside that guests are welcome to use.
Also outside is a private kidney-shaped swimming pool. The pool is less than a metre deep throughout and so often works well for those with younger children. There are also lovely lawned areas within the garden as well as mature shrubs and outside seating areas.
Please note that the housekeeper lives in one of the outbuildings set within the grounds of the masseria.
